Day 24 - 8/8/2004 - Next Stop -  Glacier National Park.

Idaho has to rank as one of the most boring states we have seen.  A lot of "flat and dry", surrrounded by "hilly and dry".  I think the most impressive thing we saw was that the speed limit is 75 MPH.  This is obviously designed to get you through the state as fast and as painlessly as possible.

The trip up to Glacier was fairly uneventful - just more driving.  We are quickly closing in on 6000 miles since we left on July 16th.  We made it to Fish Creek Campground (in the park) just before dark.  That gave us a chance to walk down to Lake McDonald to watch the sunset.  On the way down there we ran into geology interns from Old Dominion University (camping at the same campground).  It was fun sharing some common experiences so far from home.

I guess now would be the time to 'fess up and let eveyone know that Hunter and broke down last week and bought the complete set of Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD's.  (If you have no idea what that is, turn on Cartoon Network at Midnight Mon-Thur).  We've been watching those each night so that we don't go cold turkey.   Anyway, I was able to reconfigure the laptop's..nevermind...too much tech.

Time for a good nights sleep (no bugs)
